Freshlay Farms Celebrates Two-Star Great Taste Award

Noble Foods has announced that its speciality free-range brand, Freshlay Farms, has been awarded a prestigious two-star Great Taste Award for its Golden Yolker eggs – improving on last year’s one-star recognition.

The taste-led accolade affirms Freshlay’s commitment to delivering exceptional quality and taste, helping to solidify its position in the free-range egg market.

The award-winning Golden Yolker eggs, renowned for their deep, vibrant yolks, are available in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, and Co-op.

The judges on the tasting panel called out the brand for its impressive taste, colour and flexibility:

“These eggs look absolutely perfect, with a beautiful rich orangey-yellow yolk; they also have a delightfully rich aroma. On tasting, we were impressed with the velvety sweetness of the yolk and the depth of flavour it delivered, there’s hardly any need for a pinch of salt even to bring out the flavour.”

“The judges tried these eggs cooked a couple of different ways and enjoyed all the results with the lustrous yolk particularly evident when poached. Tasty and rich eggs.”

“These eggs had a very enticing golden yolk, which tasted rich and full of flavour. They would be exquisite for dipping asparagus, or on toast, and would add flavour to any meal. A very good quality egg from well-raised hens.”
